Bruce. He said he and his wife, Diane, had just lost their Dane, Sage.
They were both understandably upset. He told me they had found
my website and would be looking for another Dane once the pain
went away. I spoke with Bruce many times over the following
months and finally Diane was able to call me. We both shared the
loss of a loved pet and became friends. She called often and sent
e-mails. Finally, when the time was right, Bruce and Diane came to
visit my home and my Dane family. They were much taken with
what they found and liked two of the dogs quite a bit. But as it
turned out those dogs went to other homes.
Then I got Emma. She is a 3 year old female Harlequin. I knew right
away that she was the one for them. So I contacted them, they came
to see her and they fell in love. We proceeded with the adoption.
Then I got Fancy. She is a 3 year old female Harlequin. I immediately
e-mailed Diane. And she fell in love again.
Now Bruce, Diane, Emma and Fancy are one big happy family.
